Island Music Company offers private guitar instruction to anyone with the desire to learn! We teach beginner to professional guitar for rock, blues, jazz, classical and country.
Lessons are purchased at the rate of $20.00 - $25.00 per half-hour, by the month paid in advance. This guarantees each student the same weekly time slot for the entire month. Students of all ages and levels are welcomed to take part in this fun and rewarding experience.

Keith Grasso Owner of Island Music Company
Keith first picked up the guitar when he was just seven years old. Eleven years later he studied classical guitar at Towson University and continued taking professional-level guitar lessons from artists Tobias Hurwitz (GIT graduate), Michael Fath (multi-platinum guitar virtuoso), and Carl Filipiak (world-renowned jazz guitar player). Over the years, Keith has recorded with and guest-starred for local Baltimore bands such as Inverness, The Bagshots, The Mobtown Kings, The Perfect Poor, and Elise Major. In addition Keith has hosted instructional seminars with Joe Satriani, George Lynch (Dokken,Lynch Mob), and Michael Wilton (Queensryche), and Michelangelo Batio. In 2003, 2004, and 2005 Keith was awarded the honor of being Baltimore’s Most Requested Guitar Instructor. Keith has taught novices,professionals and kids of all ages from 5-75 years!
